The Lok Sabha elections in the Chevella segment were peaceful, with no incidents reported. The voter turnout was 53.15%, slightly lower than the previous elections. The segment includes seven Assembly constituencies with a total of 29,28,186 voters.
Chevella had the highest turnout at 70.84%, followed by Tandur (66.34%), Pargi (65.98%), Vikarabad (64.44%), Rajendranagar (53.13%), Maheshwaram (51.70%), and Serilingampally (43.11%). Despite being a fast-developing area, Serilingampally had the lowest turnout.
Some constituencies showed mixed voter responses, while Rajendranagar and Maheshwaram had strong support for Congress. The polling process was monitored from a Command and Control Centre at NAARM, Rajendranagar.
