    Thieves Steal Ornaments from Ayyappa Swamy Temple in Hyderabad

    Thieves broke into the Ayyappa Swamy temple in Mansoorabad, LB Nagar, in the early hours of Tuesday. They stole ornaments belonging to the deity and attempted to take money from the collection box.

    According to the police, the suspects entered the temple, which is located on the main road, and tried to break open the donation box to steal cash. However, when they failed to open it, they decided to take the entire box with them on a bike.

    A motorist passing by noticed the suspects and raised an alarm. In response, the burglars threatened him with a knife before fleeing the scene.

    The temple authorities lodged a complaint with the LB Nagar police, who have begun an investigation. Officers suspect the thieves had planned to steal the deity’s gold ornaments. The police are now reviewing footage from nearby surveillance cameras to identify and catch the culprits as soon as possible, said a senior official.
