In Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his support for MP candidate Y S Avinash Reddy. He criticized those who he believes are trying to tarnish the YSR family’s political legacy by aligning with their enemies. CM Jagan also highlighted the support he received from the people after his father’s demise.
He accused the Congress of betraying the YSR legacy by visiting YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya despite previously vilifying his father and imprisoning him. CM Jagan also criticized Chandrababu Naidu for allying with the BJP and Congress to divide votes and secure victory. He emphasized the importance of allowing the people to determine Kadapa’s politics.
CM Jagan discussed the minority reservations and appointments in his government, highlighting the importance of supporting minorities. He questioned Chandrababu’s stance on Muslim reservations and criticized his alliances for political gain. CM Jagan emphasized that the 4 percent Muslim reservation is based on backwardness, not religion.
The Chief Minister mentioned the achievements of his government in terms of job creation and financial disbursement through DBT. He also addressed the obstacles faced during elections, including disruptions to welfare schemes. CM Jagan urged voters to focus on the continuity of welfare measures for the next five years.
CM Jagan accused Chandrababu of corruption and criticized his cash distribution for votes. He emphasized the importance of voting for the continuation of welfare schemes.
