The new DR BR Ambedkar Secretariat building in Hyderabad is set to be inaugurated on April 30, and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be using the East gate to enter the building. Other ministers, MPs, MLAs, and top State officials will also be using the same gate to access the Secretariat. The Secretariat has four main gates in different directions, with the North and West gate only being opened when necessary. The North-East gate will be used by Secretariat staff, secretaries, and officials.
Visitors to the Secretariat will need to enter through the South-East gate, which is open from 3 to 5 pm. Electric vehicles will be provided for disabled and elderly visitors, while private vehicles are not allowed on the premises. Security arrangements for the Secretariat have been given high priority, with the DGP tasked with formulating procedures and taking measures to ensure the safety of the building and its occupants.
Around 2,500 people are expected to attend the inauguration, including ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, State-level corporation chairmen, HODs of all departments, collectors of all districts, SPs, zilla parishad chairmen, DCCB, DCMMs chairmen, several zilla grandhalaya samstha chairmen, zilla Rythu Bandhu Samiti presidents, municipal mayors, and other dignitaries. The Secretariat’s parking is located on the same side as the East gate.
