Rangareddy District Collector Shashanka underlined the importance of resolving public concerns quickly during the Prajavani Vani program held on Monday at the integrated district offices community meeting hall. 149 complaints were filed throughout the session, addressing a variety of issues within the area.
The District Collector, accompanied by Additional Collector Bhupal Reddy, advised personnel to prioritize the resolution of these concerns, emphasizing the necessity of responding quickly to public grievances. He directed staff to thoroughly review filed petitions and take prompt action.
Furthermore, District Collector Shashanka recommended that relevant agency officials transmit public requests to the state-level public radio program in Hyderabad for prompt resolution. He underlined the importance of prompt answers and issue resolution, proposing the use of an online site to document petition efforts. Should any concerns go unaddressed, explicit explanations for the delays were required.
To improve openness and accountability, the District Collector proposed creating a Prajavani register to track the status of complaints, such as received, resolved, and pending cases. He invited all district, Mandal, and municipal officers to attend the weekly public address program at the collector’s office to address community concerns effectively.
Notably, farmers were advised to submit applications for land surveys directly to the Collector or Additional Collector for streamlined processing. The program witnessed participation from officials representing various departments.
