    A couple in Chandrupatla village of Khammam district, Rayala Yohanu (112) and Rayala Marthamma (96), passed away on the same day. Marthamma, who was sick and in the hospital, had a heart attack and died. When Yohanu saw her dead body at home, he also passed away. The villagers were very sad to see their strong bond even in death.

    Yohanu and Marthamma were a special couple in their village. They fell in love and got married seventy years ago and stayed together until their deaths. They had a large family with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

    Yohanu, who was over a hundred years old, had been bedridden recently. Marthamma, who was almost 100 years old, had many health problems and was in the hospital for treatment. Sadly, she died while receiving treatment, and Yohanu couldn’t bear the loss and passed away too.

    The entire village came together to mourn the couple’s death and attended their funeral.
