    The 70th Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) meeting of Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway, was held recently. Lokesh Vishnoi, the divisional railway manager, highlighted the achievements of Hyderabad division in the current financial year until May 2024.

    He provided updates on various development activities within the Hyderabad division, including ongoing works at stations selected under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). The chairman also discussed completed passenger amenity works and projects that are currently underway.

    During the meeting, members expressed satisfaction with the division’s developmental efforts. They praised the progress made on various projects and initiatives, especially at stations selected under ABSS. Members also brought up suggestions for introducing new trains, adding stops for existing trains, running special trains, restoring passenger services, and installing lifts and escalators.
