The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is preparing to announce the results for the main exams of 563 Group-1 posts by February 19, 2024. This is in line with its goal of completing the recruitment process within a year of releasing the job notification.

The recruitment drive received an overwhelming response, with 4,03,645 candidates applying. A preliminary exam was conducted on June 9, and from this, 31,382 candidates were shortlisted for the main exams. Including those who received permission from the High Court, a total of 31,403 candidates participated in the main exams.

Out of these participants, 21,093 candidates appeared for the rigorous 7-paper tests. TSPSC began evaluating the answer sheets in mid-November. Each paper is being evaluated twice to ensure accuracy, and if there is a significant difference between the two evaluations, a third round of evaluation will be conducted to finalize the marks.

After the evaluation is completed, the next step will be the verification of certificates. This will be done in a 1:2 ratio based on the candidates’ performance and merit. The verification process is expected to take an additional three months to complete.
