    **Hyderabad:** In the first phase of the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TGEAPCET) counselling, most seats were allotted in Computer Science and its related branches. Around 53,517 seats were given out during this phase, and only 373 seats in computer science remain vacant.

    According to TGEAPCET officials, around 96,238 candidates attended certificate verification. Out of these, 95,735 candidates participated in web options. A total of 75,200 seats were allotted in the first phase, leaving 3,494 seats vacant. About 20,535 candidates gave their options but did not receive any allotment.

    Under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota, 6,038 candidates secured allotments. Seats earmarked for Sports and NCC quotas will be considered for allocation in the next phases of counselling after receiving priorities from the concerned departments.

    So far, 89 engineering colleges, including 7 universities and 82 private colleges, have achieved 100 percent admission.

    Candidates need to download their allotment orders and pay the tuition fee online. It is advised that both candidates and parents make tuition fee payments from their own bank accounts. In case of refunds, the amount will be returned to the same bank account from which the payment was made.
