    Hyderabad: The Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), Prof. R Limbadri, and Secretary Prof. Sriram Venkatesh extended their gratitude to key officials for addressing important issues in the state’s education system. They specifically thanked the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Prof. Jagadish Kumar, and senior officials from the Bar Council of India and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

    During a recent meeting with the UGC Chairman, Prof. Limbadri discussed various aspects of the educational process in Telangana. He detailed how admissions work in the state, from the DOST process all the way to PhD admissions. Additionally, he highlighted the ongoing changes in distance education admissions. Prof. Limbadri also brought attention to the challenges students face when trying to get into unrecognized universities that offer admissions under the guise of open and distance education. He noted that the UGC Chairman listened carefully and responded positively to these concerns.

    In another meeting with senior officials from the Bar Council of India, Prof. Limbadri discussed the issue of pending approvals for several law colleges in Telangana. He mentioned that the officials responded positively, indicating that these issues would be addressed soon.
