    Hyderabad: Prof. V Balakista Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), recently visited the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibility of a collaboration between TGCHE and IIT-Madras through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

    The goal of this partnership is to use the expertise of IIT-Madras in setting up research parks and innovation hubs. This would help improve technological education and provide students in Telangana with practical, hands-on experience.

    During the meeting, Prof. Reddy discussed several areas of collaboration, including the creation of incubation centers, research parks, and programs to build human capacity.

    Prof. V Kamakoti, Director of IIT-Madras, expressed his full support for the initiative. He offered to provide guidance and expertise, especially in areas like startup incubation, infrastructure development, and partnerships between industry and universities.

    Prof. Reddy assured Prof. Kamakoti that the state government would provide all necessary resources, including investments. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is particularly interested in moving forward with technological advancements in higher education.
