TGBIE Sets Up Command Control Room for Exam Monitoring

The Telangana Government Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has set up a Command Control Room (CCC) to monitor examinations across the state. The CCC is equipped with 31 screens and a large video wall to oversee 1,532 examination centres in all 33 districts.

To ensure strict supervision, each exam centre is fitted with at least three CCTV cameras that are connected to the CCC. According to TGBIE Secretary Krishna Aditya, around 600 CCTV cameras have already been installed and integrated into the system.

These cameras help monitor students as they enter the exam centres and track the opening of question paper packets by the chief superintendents and department officers. Additionally, cameras are placed at the main entrance, gates, verandas, and corridors to keep an eye on student movement throughout the exams.

Meanwhile, the State Health Department is running a mental health support program called Tele-MANAS (Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking across the State). This initiative provides psychological support to students during exams and after results are announced.

Qualified psychologists and psychiatrists are available 24/7 to help students dealing with stress, anxiety, tension, and nervousness. Students who need support can call the toll-free number 14416 for counselling and guidance.
