Telangana State TET-II 2024 Held Peacefully

The Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET-II) 2024 was conducted smoothly across 101 centers in the state on Thursday. A large number of registered candidates appeared for the exam, reflecting the importance of this test for aspiring teachers.

However, some candidates faced challenges in reaching their examination centers because the locations were far from their local areas. This caused inconvenience for a few aspirants, highlighting a logistical issue in center allotment.

Out of the 12,815 candidates registered for Paper I, 9,259 appeared for the test. Similarly, for Paper II, 9,637 candidates attended out of the 12,734 who had registered. This indicates a strong turnout for both papers.

Paper I is designed for those who aim to teach students in grades one to five, while Paper II is meant for those aspiring to teach grades six to eight. According to a senior officer from the Education Department, candidates intending to teach students across grades one to eight are required to appear for both papers.

The smooth conduct of the exam marks a significant step in the recruitment of qualified teachers for Telangana’s educational system.
