    Telangana Partners with JSW UAV for UAV Manufacturing Facility

    The Telangana government has signed an agreement with JSW UAV Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Defence, to establish a cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAV) manufacturing facility in the state. This project will involve an investment of approximately ₹800 crore, with JSW UAV collaborating with a leading US-based defence technology firm.

    The new facility is expected to create over 200 high-value jobs, further solidifying Telangana’s reputation as a hub for advanced technology and defence innovation. This partnership reflects the state’s commitment to attracting investments in advanced technologies while fostering employment opportunities.

    Revanth Reddy, speaking after the agreement, expressed his excitement about the investment. He stated, “Hyderabad and Telangana have been recognized globally as leaders in software and pharma. With a clear vision and dedicated efforts, we are now positioning Telangana as a leader in manufacturing across various sectors, including semiconductors, defence, private space, and FMCG. Our efforts to make Telangana a key player in the global ‘China Plus One’ strategy are showing results.”

    Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu also shared his enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled with this agreement. It will set a strong trend in the defence manufacturing sector. We will work tirelessly to make Telangana one of India’s largest manufacturing hubs.”

    This initiative marks another milestone in Telangana’s journey toward becoming a destination of choice for advanced technology and defence-related investments.
