The Telangana government is introducing major economic policies to become a leading global business hub, said Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
A major business summit, “Future-Ready Industry Transformation: Innovating for Growth, Efficiency, and Security (GrowthX 2025),” took place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on Saturday. It was organized by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in partnership with industry leaders.
Minister Sridhar Babu inaugurated the event and shared the state’s vision for economic growth, technological progress, and industrial development. He emphasized that Telangana is committed to becoming a trillion-dollar economy. This goal is supported by strong policies, modern industrial strategies, and efforts to attract investments.
The Minister also invited global investors and business leaders to explore the opportunities in Telangana’s economy. He highlighted that the state has become a leader in the IT and innovation sectors, outperforming national standards in multiple areas.
Telangana has shown remarkable growth in software exports, achieving a 17.98% increase—more than double the national average of 8%. This growth highlights the state’s strong position as a preferred destination for technology and knowledge-based industries, Sridhar Babu said.
He further explained that the global economy is rapidly changing due to advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing, and Machine Learning. These technologies are reshaping industries, creating both new opportunities and challenges. Telangana is committed to building an innovation-driven environment to help industries stay competitive and prepared for the future, he added.
