Completed with an Expenditure of 16 Lakhs Rupees

Vaddepalli, June 24: Out of his compassion for the people suffering due to the lack of a temple in the village, a Brahmachari named Mohan Rao single-handedly constructed a temple spending 16 lakhs rupees. Karanam Mohan Rao and his wife Radha Bai, residents of Vaddepalli Mandal in Jogulamba Gadwal district, have three sons. Their elder son Satyanarayana got married to Giridhar, the younger son. The second son Chakrapani is yet to get married but is interested in agriculture. He helps his father in farming.

Currently, Chakrapani is working as a priest in the local Shivarama Anjaneya Swamy temple. Even though he is unmarried at the age of 30, he has not found a suitable match yet. The deity has not blessed him with a bride. There is no vacant temple to go to. Some astrologers suggested that he should construct a temple on his own land (14 cents) in the village of Shiva. In February 2018, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Shirdi Sai Baba temple. After working tirelessly for four years, with the support of donors, he completed the construction of the temple at a cost of approximately 16 lakhs rupees. He brought a Shirdi Sai Baba idol worth 3 lakhs from Rajasthan and installed it in the temple. On August 27, 2021, the temple was inaugurated, and consecration ceremonies were conducted grandly.
