Telangana is expected to experience cooler temperatures, especially at night, after a period of intense heat. Weather expert T. Balaji shared on X that starting tonight, districts in North Telangana, including Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Nizamabad, Jagital, Bhupalpally, and Karimnagar, will see a temperature drop. While the days will still be warm, the nights and mornings will be noticeably cooler.
Hyderabad will also experience a drop in temperature. However, the core areas of the city may not cool down significantly due to the urban heat island effect. On the other hand, the outskirts of Hyderabad will feel much cooler, especially in the mornings.
Balaji explained that this change in weather is due to cold winds coming from North India, causing a brief cold wave in the region. Between March 6 and 7, morning temperatures are expected to range between 10-12°C, while daytime temperatures will reach 35-36°C. However, after March 9, the heat is likely to return.
