Hyderabad: The Telangana government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has announced new guidelines for providing financial assistance to farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. The initiative is designed to help farmers manage crop investment costs and strengthen the agricultural sector.
According to a government order (GO RT No. 18), dated January 10, 2025, the assistance will be distributed starting January 26. The amount of financial aid will depend on the size of the cultivable land registered on the Bhuharathi portal.
To make the process easier for farmers, the government has issued the guidelines in Telugu. This approach is similar to the Telugu guidelines previously used for loan waiver schemes, ensuring that farmers can easily understand and access the benefits of the program.
The Rythu Bharosa scheme is one of the key initiatives of the Revanth Reddy government to improve agricultural productivity and reduce financial stress on farmers in Telangana. Farmers are encouraged to visit their local agricultural offices to learn more about the scheme and how to apply.
