Hyderabad: Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, D. Sridhar Babu, reaffirmed the state government’s ambitious vision of turning Telangana into a trillion-dollar (Rs 84 lakh crore) economy within the next decade. He explained that technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and quantum computing will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
Speaking at the conclusion of the “IAMPHENOM India” conference, held at HITEC City on Friday, the Minister highlighted the importance of developing a skilled workforce to support this vision. He shared that initiatives such as the Young India Skills University aim to prepare talent for future demands. The Minister also acknowledged the role of companies like Phenom, a Hyderabad-based unicorn, in empowering young talent and helping individuals reach their full potential.
The conference, organized by global AI leader Phenom, brought together more than 500 HR professionals, Chief Experience Officers (CXOs), and innovators. The event focused on exploring the transformative opportunities that AI and automation bring to various industries.
Minister Sridhar Babu encouraged organizations like Phenom to continue creating opportunities for India’s youth, enabling them to unlock their potential. He emphasized that Hyderabad is rapidly becoming a global innovation hub, with advancements in AI and automation driving groundbreaking changes in the workplace.
