RTC employees in Telangana are gearing up for a strike, marking the first such protest in four years. The strike is being organized to address long-standing grievances that have remained unresolved.

On Monday, workers plan to serve a formal strike notice to RTC Managing Director (MD) Sajjinar. The notice will be submitted at 4 PM at Bus Bhavan. This move comes as part of efforts led by trade unions to highlight critical issues affecting the workforce.

The RTC Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders have put forward several key demands. These include wage revisions dating back to 2021, the removal of restrictions on trade unions, and the merger of RTC employees. The unions argue that these issues have been ignored for too long and need urgent attention.
