Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Wraps Up Singapore Visit with Key Business Meetings
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with his delegation, concluded the Singapore leg of their two-nation tour. This trip, under the banner of the “Telangana Rising” initiative, aimed to attract investments and foster collaborations for the state of Telangana.
The delegation included IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu and other key officials. They held detailed discussions with prominent business leaders and members of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). These meetings focused on Telangana’s policies, investment opportunities, and the potential for economic growth in Hyderabad and the state.
Some of the key figures they met included Pradeepto Biswas, Founder and CEO of Indian Ocean Group; Lim Him Chaun, Country Head of DBS, along with Amit Sharma, Group Head of Telecom at DBS; Gautam Banerjee, Senior MD and Chairman of Blackstone Singapore; Peng Wei Tan, Senior MD of Real Estate at Blackstone Singapore; and Omar Shahzad, CEO of Meinhardt Group.
The ambitious “Telangana Rising 2050” vision, which outlines a comprehensive and large-scale plan for the state’s development, gained significant attention in Singapore. Business leaders expressed strong interest and commitment to partnering with Telangana in its growth journey.
After the successful meetings in Singapore, the delegation is now headed to the World Economic Forum in Davos to continue their efforts to attract global investments and partnerships.
