The multimedia show “Malayala Puzha” was a big hit at the Kerala-Telangana Heritage festival in Hyderabad. It combined 22 different art forms and showcased scenes from 44 rivers in Kerala. Pramod Payyannur, a theater and film director from Bharat Bhavan, directed the show. Around 80 talented artists performed on stage, including Margi Usha and the Pananas who sang about the rivers of Kerala. The show was a symbol of Kerala’s river basin developments, environmental protection, artistic diversity, and cultural history. It was the first time “Malayala Puzha” was shown in Telangana. The show has been invited to other cultural festivals in different states of India.
