Telangana is expected to experience very high temperatures in the coming week. The temperature may rise between 40°C and 44°C, making the weather extremely hot. However, relief is expected soon, as weather experts predict unseasonal thundershowers between March 20 and 24. These showers could bring some relief from the scorching heat.
According to Hyderabad-based weather analyst T Balaji, also known as “Telangana Weatherman,” the heat wave will continue until March 19. After that, thunderstorms are likely to bring a temporary break from the hot weather. He shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Telangana could experience “strong unseasonal thunderstorms” during this period.
The current hot and dry weather has been affecting people across Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana. Many residents are struggling to cope with the extreme heat. Authorities have advised people to take precautions, such as staying hydrated and avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours.
As summer continues, meteorologists believe that these pre-monsoon thunderstorms may help cool down the temperatures for a short time. However, the heat is expected to return soon after.
