Hyderabad: The State government has identified 35 locations across 13,741 acres to set up industrial parks. IT Minister D Sridhar Babu provided this information while responding to a question raised by BJP MLA K Venkata Ramana Reddy in the Assembly on Monday.

These 35 locations were identified by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) after conducting thorough assessments. The land includes 2,338 acres of government land, 7,638 acres of assigned land, and 3,765 acres of privately owned (patta) land. The government plans to acquire this land following proper legal procedures.

Once the land is obtained from revenue authorities, the next steps will involve developing necessary infrastructure, preparing layouts, and obtaining required approvals to establish the industrial parks.

During the discussion, Reddy expressed dissatisfaction, saying he had submitted eight questions but only three were addressed. In response, Sridhar Babu clarified that replies were provided based on the questions forwarded to the department and suggested that additional information could be requested through other channels.
