The Telangana government has decided to remove the intermediate 25 per cent weightage for the EAMCET exam. This means that candidates who pass the EAMCET exam will be ranked based solely on their marks in the exam. This decision was announced in a notice issued by the State high Education department on Wednesday. The rule was previously relaxed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but has now been completely eliminated.

Candidates who have qualified for the EAMCET exam and those belonging to the SC and ST categories who have not been given qualifying marks will be ranked based on their marks in the exam only. The Agriculture and Medical test of the EAMCET 2023 will be held on May 10 and 11, and the engineering test will be held on May 12, 13 and 14. Both tests will be conducted in two sessions each day from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm.
