Telangana | Hyderabad: The state government has brought good news for the unemployed. The government has given the green signal to the recruitment of 1827 staff nurses in teaching hospitals under the Directorate of Medical Education. Approvals were granted and the finance department issued orders on Friday. The Telangana Medical Health and Recruitment Board is conducting the recruitment process through direct recruitment method. CM KCR expressed his intention to establish a medical college in every district and Minister Harish Rao mentioned this context.
Before the formation of Telangana, there were only 5 medical colleges, but now the number has increased to 26. It was mentioned that all necessary actions are being taken to establish 8 more medical colleges in the coming years. In addition to providing specialized medical services to the rural areas, it was also mentioned that medical education is being provided to the poor. Along with the establishment of medical colleges, necessary recruitment is being done for doctors, nurses, and other staff members. Currently, the recruitment process for 1061 assistant professors has been completed and they have been appointed in teaching hospitals. Presently, efforts are underway to recruit 1827 staff nurses. This will provide better medical services to the people. Minister Harish Rao stated that employment opportunities are increasing for 1827 individuals.
