The Telangana government has extended the 25% discount on registration charges under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) until March 31. This decision aims to help people regularize their plots at a lower cost.

During a key meeting, officials decided that layouts where at least 10% of plots have already been registered will be eligible for regularization. The 25% discount will still apply in such cases.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu attended the meeting. They urged people to take advantage of this opportunity, as many have been waiting for LRS approval for the past four years.
