    A police constable from Mancherial district named M Santosh died due to the extreme heat wave in Hyderabad. He was 42 years old and collapsed at home after returning from work at Ramakrishnapur police station. Santosh had been working as a constable since 2000 and his family believes he died from sunstroke. The temperature in some parts of Telangana has risen above 45 degrees Celsius in the last two days, which is very hot. The IMD predicts that the weather will remain dry until May 18th and temperatures are expected to continue to rise by two to three degrees C in different areas. The IMD authorities have cautioned people not to go outside during the day, especially between 11 am and 3 pm.
