    The Telangana State government is working hard to develop agriculture in the area. They are providing free electricity to farmers for 24 hours and helping to irrigate previously barren land. The government is also providing financial assistance to farmers to help them invest in crops.

    The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, has focused on the problems facing farmers and the agriculture sector. He has implemented new agricultural reforms and strategies to support farmers.

    The government has invested in irrigation, modern tillage techniques, quality seeds and timely fertilizers to increase crop production. They are also providing 27 lakh agricultural motors with free electricity, spending Rs.10,000 crores annually on this.

    The RythuBandu scheme provides Rs.10,000 per acre per year to farmers for crop investment assistance, benefiting 65 lakh farmers since its launch. The government has deposited over Rs.65 crores directly into farmers’ accounts since 2018.

    To show their support for farmers, the Telangana government has constructed 2,601 Rythuvedikas across the state, one for every 5 thousand acre cluster. These platforms help guide farming practices and provide a forum for farmers to discuss issues.
