    Telangana DGP Assures Tight Security Measures for Group-1 Mains Exam

    Telangana’s Director General of Police (DGP), Jitender, held a press conference to reassure the public about the security preparations for the upcoming Group-1 Mains examinations. He emphasized that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure the exams are conducted smoothly. He also warned that legal action would be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt the process.

    During the briefing, DGP Jitender addressed concerns about possible protests. He stated that the exams will continue as ordered by the court. He made it clear that strict action will be taken if anyone causes trouble by protesting on the streets and disturbing public order. He also suggested that those unhappy with the High Court’s decision should approach the Supreme Court for further resolution.

    In addition to the exam-related updates, the DGP also spoke about the investigation into the incident at the Secunderabad Mutyalamma temple. He assured the public that the inquiry is ongoing and promised severe punishment for those responsible.

    Jitender urged the public to remain calm and not spread fear regarding the Secunderabad incident, stressing that the situation is under control. He also announced that Telangana will observe Police Martyrs’ Commemoration Days from October 21 to 31. These days will honor the police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty. He mentioned that this year, 214 policemen across the country have died, including one officer from Telangana.
