Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender spoke about the ongoing protests by battalion constables in the state. These constables are demanding the implementation of a single police policy. The protests have gained attention as both the constables and their family members are involved, raising concerns about the current police recruitment and operational systems.

DGP Jitender pointed out that it is not appropriate for officers to raise concerns while serving in a disciplined force. He also mentioned that he had previously indicated plans to bring back the old system during the holidays. However, he urged the constables to stop their protests for now. He expressed concerns that anti-government forces might be behind these agitations, suggesting that external elements could be influencing the protests.
