In response to comments made by BRS leader and opposition chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) about the Telangana state government’s budget, Congress ministers and MLAs held a press conference at the assembly. They strongly disagreed with KCR’s remarks.
Minister Seethakka led the discussion. She questioned why KCR did not comment on the recently unveiled central budget. She pointed out that it was inconsistent for him to criticize the state budget while ignoring the central one. “It is strange to discuss the state budget while remaining silent on the central budget,” Seethakka said. She noted that the assembly had passed a resolution condemning the central budget for betraying Telangana’s interests.
Seethakka further suggested that KCR’s criticisms of the state budget were politically motivated. She asserted that his remarks seemed to be part of a strategy to align with the BJP’s agenda. “It is clear that KCR is targeting the state government as a means to gain favor from the BJP,” she concluded.
