Telangana Launches 'One State One Card' Pilot Program
The Telangana government has started a new program called ‘One State One Card.’ This program aims to make family welfare schemes easier to access through a digital platform. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy officially launched the Family Digital Card project, which is a part of this initiative.
As part of the pilot program, a survey will be conducted in one village from each constituency and one ward in urban areas. The government has set a five-day deadline for this survey to be completed. Officials have been told to make sure the process is efficient and accurate.
The goal of the program is to simplify how families access government services. The unified card will combine different welfare schemes and make sure that eligible families can receive benefits without any difficulties. The initiative also aims to promote transparency in the distribution of welfare benefits.
