Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recently led a meeting to prepare for the upcoming “People’s Governance – People’s Victory Celebrations.” These celebrations will mark the completion of the first year of the state’s government. The meeting was attended by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, several ministers, and senior officials.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of sharing the government’s achievements with the public. He emphasized that the government has made significant progress in various areas over the past year, especially in welfare programs and development projects. The celebrations will include activities designed to engage the people and showcase the state’s accomplishments.
People's Victory Celebrations: Key Highlights
The government has planned several events as part of the celebrations:
– Public Meetings in Districts: Large gatherings will be held in three key districts—Warangal, Karimnagar, and Mahabubnagar. These meetings aim to bring the government closer to the people and highlight its achievements.
– Focus on Women, Farmers, and Youth: The Telangana government is placing special attention on empowering women, supporting farmers, and helping the youth. Various initiatives will be introduced during the celebrations to raise awareness and encourage greater participation in these sectors.
– Inauguration of Women’s Empowerment Centers: On December 19, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for 22 Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavans (Women’s Empowerment Centers) in Warangal. These centers are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve the economic and social status of women.
– Victory Celebrations in Hyderabad: From December 7 to 9, events will take place in Hyderabad at iconic locations like Tank Bund, the Secretariat, and Necklace Road. These celebrations will include cultural programs and exhibits showcasing the government’s progress.
– Statue of Telangana Mother: A statue of ‘Telangana Thalli’ (Mother Telangana) will be unveiled at the Secretariat on December 9. Women from across the state will be invited to this important event, which symbolizes the state’s identity and development.
– Sector-wise Public Outreach: Leading up to the celebrations, various government departments will hold cultural programs and public outreach campaigns. These efforts aim to inform the public about the government’s achievements and key initiatives from the past year.

The planning meeting was attended by several key figures, including ministers like Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, PCC President, and government advisors V. Narendra Reddy and K. Keshavarao. The Chief Secretary, Shanti Kumari, along with senior officials from various departments, were also present.
