Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with Industries and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, recently visited the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore. This visit was part of the Telangana Rising initiative, aimed at boosting the state’s technical education and skill development efforts. ITE Singapore is known for its expertise in over 20 technical fields.
During the tour, CM Revanth Reddy engaged with experts and staff at ITE Singapore to learn about their successful practices in skill development. This interaction showcased Telangana’s dedication to advancing technical education and preparing a skilled workforce for the future.
A key highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ITE Singapore and Telangana’s Young India Skills University (YISU). This agreement was signed in the presence of CM Revanth Reddy, with YISU Chancellor V.L. VSS Subba Rao representing Telangana. On behalf of ITE Singapore, Parvinder Singh, Deputy Director of Academic and Admin Services, and Fabian Chiang, Deputy Director of Education Services, signed the MoU. The partnership aims to promote joint efforts in skill development programs that will benefit the youth of Telangana.
The delegation also toured the ITE campus, where they observed the institute’s cutting-edge facilities and innovative curriculum. ITE Singapore expressed its willingness to support Telangana’s educational initiatives, signaling an important step in global collaboration for skill development.
To strengthen this partnership, a team from ITE Singapore is expected to visit Hyderabad in the coming months. The visit will focus on exploring ways to implement skill enhancement programs and further cooperation between the two regions.
