    On National Sports Day, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy sent his best wishes to all athletes and sports lovers. He expressed pride in marking the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand by celebrating it as ‘National Sports Day.’

    The Chief Minister shared an inspiring quote from Major Dhyan Chand: “My duty is to take my country forward.” He emphasized that the Telangana state government strongly values sports.

    To support this commitment, the Chief Minister announced the creation of the Young India Sports University. He mentioned that the university would offer Olympic-level facilities and training to help Telangana athletes succeed in both national and international competitions.
