Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Welcomes New Government Employees

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated newly appointed government employees, calling their recruitment a “dream come true” after a long wait of ten years. Speaking to the candidates, he encouraged them to contribute to the state’s growth and help make Telangana a better place.

    Launch of Job Recruitment Initiative

The Chief Minister officially launched the ‘Praja Prabhutvam – Koluvula Panduga’ (People’s Government – Festival of Jobs) initiative. As part of this program, he handed out appointment letters to 922 candidates who were recruited under compassionate and other government job schemes. These recruitments took place in the Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, and Municipal Administration departments.

A Major Step in Job Appointments

During his speech, Revanth Reddy pointed out that compassionate job appointments had been delayed since 2015, causing many job seekers to lose valuable time. He criticized the previous government for not focusing on filling vacancies and said that when Telangana was formed, people had high expectations for job opportunities. However, these expectations were not met by the previous administration.

The Chief Minister proudly announced that, within its first year, his government had filled 57,924 government positions. He claimed that no other state in India had recruited such a large number of employees in its first year, making Telangana a model state for job appointments.

    Addressing Misinformation

Revanth Reddy also spoke about misinformation being spread on social media regarding his government’s welfare programs. He questioned why some people were criticizing initiatives that benefited the public and listed several welfare measures introduced by his administration.

These included farm loan waivers, free bus travel for women, financial support for self-help groups, solar power generation by women entrepreneurs, free electricity for 50 lakh families, subsidized LPG cylinders at ₹500 for 43 lakh women, and increased allowances for students. He assured the public that his government was working tirelessly, spending 18 hours a day to implement these schemes.

    Key Officials Present

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka), government advisors Harkara Venugopal Rao and S. Venugopala Chari, various MLAs, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, and other senior officials.

With this large-scale recruitment drive, the Telangana government aims to restore people’s trust in public employment and fulfill its promise of creating job opportunities. This marks an important milestone in the state’s governance.
