The State BJP is demanding a judicial probe into phone-tapping cases during the BRS regime. Party chief G Kishan Reddy alleged that former CM K Chandrashekar Rao allowed mafias to flourish under his Nizam-style governance.

According to Reddy, phones should only be tapped for national security and terrorism issues with proper permission. However, some police officials formed a mafia to spy on phones for political gain. This led to blackmailing and misuse of information, highlighting the corruption under the BRS regime.

Reddy mentioned that BJP members had their phones tapped, and recalled an incident during the 2019 LS elections where party staff were intercepted by police while returning to the State office with funds. The cash was confiscated but later returned after verification by IT officials.

In response to BRS working president K T Rama Rao’s allegations of political vendetta, Reddy challenged KCR to a public debate on Kavita’s involvement in liquor dealings with the AAP government in Delhi. He accused the BRS leaders of spreading lies despite no longer being in power.

The BRS MLC involved in the Delhi liquor scam was denied bail after evidence was presented by the Enforcement Directorate. Reddy stated that the BJP will continue to expose corruption and scandals by KCR and his family, while also refuting false allegations made by the BRS.
