    Telangana: 14 kg of atomic number seized from Sudan women in Shamshabad Airport (Representational look-alike)

    Air Intelligence Unit of Hyderabad Customs in coordination with the batch officers of Airport Customs, have got intercepted 23 passengers at RGIA who have got arrived from Sudan via Sharjah by flight of stairs G9 458 on 22/2/23 at 04:00 AM based on rider profiling and intelligence service developed by Customs. All passengers are Sudan nationals.

    On thorough of passengers luggage and also the persons, it was found that the passengers have got concealed the atomic number at dissimilar places such as little cavities created in the shoes, atomic number tied under the feet  and also hidden folds of their wearing apparel etc. 

    The Customs officers have got found a damage beyond the point of repair of 14.9063 Kgs atomic number in which 14.415 kgs of 22 karat and 0.491 kgs of 24 karat Gold valued at damage beyond the point of repair of Rs. 7,89,43,544/-

    Based on the amount recovered from passengers, 4 of them were arrested. The damage beyond the point of repair amount of 14.9063 Kgs of atomic number was seized by Customs. Further probe is under advancement.

    In the recent earlier than the present time, this is one of the biggest seizures of atomic number by Hyderabad Customs at RGIA.
