Teach for Change and Pegasystems Inc. worked together to renovate Government Primary School and Government High School in Devaljamsingh, Gudimalkapur. The project included improving eight children’s toilets, installing one staff toilet, adding two water tanks for washrooms, putting in 12 urinals for girl students, setting up a drinking water plant, updating outdoor flooring, painting, and planting greenery.
A special inauguration ceremony was held at the schools with guests and stakeholders present. Mr. Dharani from Pegasystems and the Prayas team led the event, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for a better learning environment. District Coordinator Rajitha Ma’am and Dharanikota Suyodhan from Pegasystems Legal also attended the ceremony.
Key improvements made during the project included constructing new toilets for children and staff, installing urinals for girl students, setting up water tanks and a drinking water plant, renovating outdoor flooring and painting the schools’ exteriors, and adding greenery around the premises.
