AMARAVATI: Koneti Adimulam, a member of the TDP and MLA from Satyavedu, has received relief from the Andhra Pradesh High Court. A woman who had previously filed a sexual harassment case against him decided to withdraw her complaint. Following this, the court dismissed the case.

The complaint, lodged on September 5, contained serious accusations of rape and threats. The woman claimed that Adimulam had assaulted her multiple times at Bheema’s Paradise Hotel in Tirupati. The case gained a lot of attention after video footage related to the allegations was shared with the media. As a result, Adimulam was temporarily suspended from the TDP.

However, on September 20, the woman appeared in court and stated that her accusations were false. She submitted a notarized affidavit saying the claims were baseless and influenced by a third party. Following this statement, Adimulam’s legal team requested the court to dismiss the case.
