Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders are concerned about the health of their party leader, N Chandrababu Naidu, who is currently in Rajamahendravaram Central Jail. It has been reported that he is suffering from skin allergy and dehydration. To address this issue, TDP leaders held a meeting at NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri. They have decided to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and submit a memorandum requesting his intervention to ensure Naidu’s health is safeguarded in jail.

The TDP leaders are demanding that expert doctors be allowed to attend to Chandrababu Naidu and that he be admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Mangalagiri for better treatment. They are concerned about Naidu’s health as he has lost 5 kg of weight in jail. TDP AP unit president K Atcchannaidu highlighted the importance of taking care of Naidu’s health due to his age and discipline.

During the meeting, TDP politburo members including Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Buddha Venkanna, Varla Ramaiah, Nakka Anand Babu, Kala Venkata Rao, former minister Devineni Uma, and MLC Panchumarthi Anuradha were present.

There was a minor tension in Tadepalli when the police prevented the TDP leaders from meeting YS Jagan at his residence and submitting the memorandum. The TDP leaders demanded better facilities for Naidu in jail.
