    Hyderabad, July 9 (Namaste Telangana): The Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TUFIDC) is working towards beautifying cities in the state with a budget of 480 billion rupees. Utilizing the funds provided by TUFIDC, the cities are being transformed into more pleasant and enjoyable places to live. The establishment of a special organization was undertaken to ensure the successful completion of the development projects aimed at enhancing urban growth in Telangana. So far, 128 municipalities and urban local bodies have received a total of 473.924 billion rupees.

    The rapid urbanization taking place is being closely monitored, and essential measures are being taken to meet the needs of the people and promote sustainable development. A significant amount of funds, approximately 4.23 billion rupees, has been allocated for city and town development works, while 227 billion rupees have been earmarked for FSTP (Financial Services and Technology Parks). Additionally, 282 billion rupees have been allocated for modern drainage systems. With these funds, central lighting, urban lung spaces, sewage treatment plants, drains, link roads, and other developmental projects are being implemented.

    The aim of these initiatives is to create cleaner and more organized cities that offer a higher quality of life for residents. The government is committed to enhancing the infrastructure and providing necessary amenities to ensure the well-being of the people.
