    The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force recently conducted raids on belt shops in various areas of the city. Seven people were arrested and 96.5 liters of liquor (242 bottles) were seized during the operation.

    The raids took place in Kulsumpura, Chatrinaka, Musheerabad, and Kachiguda police station areas. Four cases were registered under the Excise Act at different police stations.

    The arrested individuals were identified as Vineeth Singh, Kuradi Sachin, Durgam Chandrashekar, A Ravi Kumar, and Ratnala Raja Rao. The police confiscated 96.5 liters of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 1,12,000 from them.

    The accused admitted to buying liquor from local shops and selling it illegally at higher prices at night for profit. They have been handed over to the respective police stations for further legal action.

    Authorities have warned against engaging in illegal activities, stating that more raids will be conducted to crack down on such activities.
