A special blood donation camp was held in Hyderabad to promote the spirit of giving during Milad ul Nabi. The event was organized by Tanzeem Focuss and the Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS) of Hyderabad, with guidance from Maulana Dr. Ahsan Al Hamoomi Sahab. It took place at the historic Asifia State Central Library in Afzalganj and received an amazing response from the community.
The camp started at 7 AM and continued throughout the day. Over 720 people volunteered to donate blood, a new record for the organizers. Both the teams from TSCS, led by Dr. Chandrakant Agarwal, and Tanzeem Focuss worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Maulana Dr. Ahsan Al Hamoomi Sahab emphasized the importance of the event by saying, “Milad ul Nabi teaches us compassion and service to humanity. By donating blood, we are living up to these values and helping those in need.” He also appreciated the large turnout and praised the efforts of the organizers and volunteers.
Dr. Chandrakant Agarwal, President of TSCS, expressed his thanks to everyone who supported the camp. He spoke about how the donated blood would help save lives, especially for patients with thalassemia and sickle cell disease, who need regular blood transfusions. He thanked Tanzeem Focuss and the volunteers for their dedication to this important cause.
The blood donation camp was part of the Milad ul Nabi celebrations, which focus on kindness and helping others. Both Tanzeem Focuss and TSCS plan to continue organizing similar events in the future to serve the community.
