The Chief Minister of Telangana State, K Chandrashekar Rao, has extended his greetings to all the people of the state and the country on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. This festival celebrates the Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Sitarama, the ideal couple, on Chaitrashuddha Navami in the spring season every year. The Chief Minister highlighted Lord Sri Rama’s sacrifices and family values, which he believes are essential for an ideal family life.
The State government is organizing the Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Sitarama with pomp and grandeur in Bhadrachalam, as it does every year. The Chief Minister prayed for the prosperity of Telangana State and the entire India with the blessings of Lord Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also extended her heartiest wishes to people on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. She emphasized the festival’s importance as it celebrates Lord Rama’s Janma Nakshatra, who is known as the personification of dharma and all ideal qualities. The Governor said that the celestial Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Rama with his consort Sita is celebrated on this holy occasion of Sri Rama Navami, which inspires us to live a holistic life as Lord Rama is dharma incarnate.
