Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has expressed his sorrow over the recent Swapnalok fire incident. The minister, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, visited the family members of the deceased at Gandhi Hospital. During his visit, he ordered officials to move the dead bodies to their respective native villages.
In a statement to the media, Talasani Srinivas Yadav expressed his shock and regret over the loss of young lives in the fire accident. He stated that the death of children aged 22 and 23 was painful and that the state government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.5 lakhs to support the families of the deceased.
Moreover, he emphasized that strict action will be taken against building and warehouse owners and managers who do not take proper precautions to prevent fire accidents. In light of this, Talasani Srinivas Yadav announced that the Swapnalok complex, where the fire accident occurred, will be seized.
This move is expected to serve as a warning to other building owners and managers to prioritize safety measures in their facilities. The government is taking proactive steps to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.
