    Hyderabad: Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav has instructed officials to take necessary precautions for a successful Ganesh immersion. Yadav, along with officials, inspected the arrangements for the immersion on PV Marg at Necklace Road. He highlighted the significance of the Ganesh festival in Hyderabad, attracting visitors from different parts of the country to witness the immersion on the Tank Bund.

    This year, there will be around 90,000 Ganesh idols to be immersed in water bodies. Preparations are underway to ensure a smooth immersion process. Ponds have been designated for idol immersion and security will be increased along the procession routes.

    Yadav emphasized that the Ganesh immersion process starts from the third day itself.
