    In a meeting with journalists in Warangal, Minister K Taraka Ramarao clarified that the Municipal Department should form a committee under the leadership of Media Academy Chairman to address the concerns of journalists.

    Kasibugga, June 17: Minister K Taraka Ramarao, who visited the Warangal district on Saturday, met with 143 leaders of the localities and journalists and listened to their issues. He clarified that the Municipal Department had already allocated land for the journalists' housing societies in two locations in the Warangal district and if they provide the account number for land registration, they will release funds for the same. The 143 leaders of the housing societies in Warangal have brought the issue of inaccessible land to the attention of Minister KTR. Chairman of the Media Academy, Allam Narayana, has informed that if the final list is made, he will also include the journalists' localities in it and present it to the collectors who are available there. He also mentioned that he has spoken to Allam Narayana about talking to journalists about their issues regarding inaccessible land.

    The Telangana Union of Working Journalists, represented by its Chief Executive Officer Askanai Maruthi Sagar and State Vice President Vishnuvardhan Reddy, met with the Minister during the meeting.
