Medchal, Malkajgiri: Minister Mallareddy of the State Labor Department has said that Chief Minister KCR has brought a revolution in the agriculture sector, benefiting the farmers of Telangana. He made these remarks while inspecting the progress of the palli (village) development works in Majidpur, Aliabad villages of Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Thursday. He stated that under the guidance of KCR, the villages are witnessing rapid growth and development.
The government has implemented various initiatives such as CC roads, CC cameras, Haritha Haram (Greenery Program), palli vanaalu (village parks), dumping yards, farmer markets, and rythu vedikalu (farmer platforms) to improve the living standards of the villagers. The progress of the palli development in Telangana has been commendable and it has been acknowledged in other states as well.
It was explained that the villages are now experiencing a clean and pollution-free environment with lush greenery. The government is providing financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakhs to those who do not have a house. Beecees (beneficiary committee) are being provided with financial assistance of one lakh rupees. Chairman of JADPI, Sharath Chandra Reddy, spoke about the remarkable progress of palli development under the leadership of Chief Minister KCR. In this program, MP Malla Reddy, JADPI T Anitha, DCEMS Vice Chairman Madhukar Reddy, and Chairman of the Farmers' Committee Mandal Krishna Reddy were also present.
The cleanliness campaign and honoring of officials were carried out as part of the palli development progress in Samburala.
Egg-Ragijava | Government schools to be provided with 3-day egg-ragijava
Egg-Ragi Java | The Department of School Education has announced that students in schools across the state will be provided with a nutritious meal of boiled eggs for three days and ragi java for another three days. It has been informed that fortified ragi java is being used for this purpose. The Director of School Education Department, Sri Devasena, has issued instructions to the District Education Officers (DEOs) on Thursday, suggesting that the distribution of ragi java should start from the 20th of this month and be made available in all 28,606 schools in the state by 1st July.
It has been decided to take action to provide ragi java to five students in each district on the 20th of this month. It was ordered by the DEOs to procure ragi java and wheat flour separately, and to distribute them to the schools from the districts. Each student will be provided with 10 grams of ragi powder and 10 grams of jaggery for three days to make ragi java. Boiled eggs will be distributed on alternate days along with the provision of ragi java. This meal is being prepared by the mid-day meal cooks with the help of kitchen assistants.
The initiative to provide a nutritious meal to students in government schools is expected to improve their health and overall well-being. By incorporating eggs and ragi java into their diet, they will receive essential nutrients necessary for their growth and development. This program aims to address malnutrition among students and promote healthy eating habits. The Department of School Education is working towards ensuring the successful implementation of this initiative in all schools across the state, starting from this month.
